La Doma de Archigas

Many people haven't heard a word about Grand Prix 2. Others have played it, and some are extremely fanatic. And of those, most think it doesn't live anymore. Wrong.

What the hell is this? A 1,25 km circle with stands and an ugly roof? Vice City Roller Coster (by Andy) has height changes that make computer cars spin and crash, and beautiful and original scenery. Why to race in La Indomable?

Basically, it's narrower and much shorter (VCRC is 1,8 km long). That implies heavier traffic, and more chances of crashing while slaloming around damaged cars.
La Doma de Archigas also has banking changes, and the circle isn't perfect neither the cc-line. That means, for a perfect time you must go up and down around the dome, and release and press the throttle in the exact moment. CC cars too, so overtaking isn't easy at all, specially after starting, when cc-cars cover all the lines. You will crash MANY times if you start in the back of the grid.

This pack includes two bonus tracks!

La Doma blanda

This is the gp2 track with the lowest lap time possible. My record is 14.2 seconds.

It is almost the fastest track too, and maybe it is. You never go under 300 km/h. A longer track (remember Gigacrculo...) with more banking would rise the average to 320... but a tiny dome is much more interesting!

In fact, this was the original Doma, but then I tried to make the soft corners softer and the tight ones tighter. The result was La Indomable, almost as fast as the original but much deadlier, so I renamed this one as "soft".

La Domitita

How can you do a 625 metre-long Gp2 track?
The trick is that this is a 720 lap, so it looks like a half-Doma. This track is much slower... and much more dangerous! You can't see far enough; if there is a stopped car, you are automatically out of the race. My record is around 21 seconds, over 200 km/h.

Bugs? When you are "half-overlapping" a car, you may see a ghost. You won't crash it, fortunately.

How long would be the "real" Doma de Archigas? 1,25 km allow very high speed average, but the shorter la Doma is, the crazier it is. And there are no trucks, nor trees.

Good luck!

If your computer explodes, or if you have a Matti-style crash, don't blame me, it was YOUR fault.
This track and me aren't Microprose products.
